I understand human change.
Years in schools and leadership coaching taught me to listen for fear, confusion, ownership, and trust before I change a workflow.
About Jethro Jones
I turn AI noise into useful systems that fit the way you and your people actually work.
Before Optimization Doc, I was a teacher, school principal, and leadership coach. That work taught me that a new system only helps when the person using it can understand it, trust it, and keep it running.
My doctorate in education leadership studied how principals use AI. It gave me a useful distinction: AI used only for efficiency can create cognitive debt. AI used for innovation can create cognitive equity by expanding what a person can do.
That is the standard I bring to your work. The goal is not more AI. The goal is a healthier system and a more capable person.
Read the dissertation record →You do not need one more person who knows the tools. You need someone who can connect the tools to people, decisions, and daily work.
Years in schools and leadership coaching taught me to listen for fear, confusion, ownership, and trust before I change a workflow.
I work with code, APIs, data, automations, AI models, and the tools already inside your business.
You see how the system works, how to judge the output, and what to do when reality changes.
I run businesses, publish media, support clients, and maintain the same kinds of systems I help you build.
These are real systems built around a real person, a real constraint, and a job that needed to get done.
A Realtor needed a custom CRM for waterfront and neighborhood-specific opportunities. I built the public-record research pipeline and review workspace.
A new booking now creates the prep, folders, tasks, messages, and follow-up work a host needs.
New episodes become transcript-backed clip options, branded audio, and vertical videos with a human review step.
“This was different. It was one of the most valuable meetings I’ve had in a very long time.”
I have spent years teaching, writing, interviewing leaders, and showing my work. You can see how I think before we work together.
We will look at the people, the process, and the tools. Then we will decide what is worth building.
